Since its inception in 2000, with the generous support of sponsors and donors, HWOA has proudly awarded 632 scholarships to deserving Latino students—many of whom are first-generation college attendees. These scholarships encourage and empower students to pursue higher education and turn their dreams into reality. The HWOA Scholarship offers eligible applicants the opportunity to receive financial assistance upon enrollment in an institution of higher education. It is HWOA’s ongoing goal to increase both the enrollment and graduation rates of Latino students, supporting their academic success and long-term achievements.
